Wool and Cashmere Blend in Suits?
I’ve been looking to buy a new suit and have found a lot of suits I have come across to have a mix of wool and cashmere (around 1-5% cashmere). What is the reason for adding cashmere to a suit blend and does it improve the overall quality or weight of the suit? Would I be better of going for a 100% wool suit? Thanks in advance.
The cashmere adds a bit of softness to the surface. It’s not going to make a huge difference until you start talking about cashmere suits made from mostly cashmere, rather than a small percentage, but it certainly won’t hurt the suit.
