When to wear a suit without a tie?
I’ve seen men wearing suits without a tie. In what circumstances would it be appropriate to do that? Should it be done only with some types or colors of suits?

Most suits can be worn without a tie. You wouldn’t do it in a formal business setting, but even very formally-dressed businessmen often take the tie off for drinks or dinner after work.
It’s also acceptable any time you’re wearing a suit socially, rather than for work. You’ll even see the President doing it at some of his more casual events.
