Skinny Ties
I recently bought a skinny tie because I like the look of them for casual interactions. I am wondering what is a good knot to use, I am a broad shoulders athletically built man and many knots seem too small for my neckline. What knot would you suggest that I use?
I am a fan of slimmer ties as well. All my favorite neckties are slim ties.
But as for your question, below I have posted a link that shows 4 knots along with descriptions and illustrated instructions on how to tie them. If you are wanting a larger knot, I would suggest starting off by trying the Windsor. It is a bit more difficult than something like a four-in-hand, but leaves you with a larger, more symmetrical knot. The Windsor is a pretty big knot, and frankly, I am not familiar with anything bigger than the Windsor. I hope this helps.
