Go with the original LaCoste if you want the canvas texture look, they usually fit better and are less baggy. The best polo shirt I ever purchased was a black Murano slim fit liquid cotton. It was like wearing a super polo that didn’t fade, felt like silk, and fit perfect like a fitted shirt compared to all other polo’s I have tried. Im also not a huge fan of being a walking advertisement or wearing logos, so the Murano polo was perfect in everyway.
Doesn’t have to be Ralph Lauren brand specifically, but they’re a good example of the classic polo. Always worth having one or two in the wardrobe.
