Layering Cardigan with cardigan?
Hello everyone,
I’m thinking on layering a plain crew neck T-shirt underneath a thin cardigan. I do not want to wear a jacket on top of these two and i’m tinking on wearing a thicker cardigan for outerwear, with bigger buttons or zip. Will it still look stylish?
I’ve never seen two cardigans layered over each other. It sounds to me like uncharted territory. I’m sure someone has done it before but it’s uncommon to say the least.
Layering T-shirt over T-shirt works, Polo over Polo works, even dress shirt over dress shirt can work if done right. Cardigan over cardigan might just work if done right. I can’t tell you how to do it right.
You might try this. Experiment in your home with different ideas and have a friend take pictures of you sporting the different ideas you come up with. Save those pictures and don’t look at them for about a week. Even if they look good at first they may not look as good to you a week later.
If you find something that works and you like the look, then go for it.
