  1. I have a few, they have numbers on the back, but they’re not quite accurate, you have to consider that the shirt adds material, so you really have to play with it. Maybe give it 1/2 to 1 size bigger than your shirt size; it works for me. As I said, play with it and search for pics that show how the bow-tie should look. Good luck!!!

  2. As a general rule of thumb, the overall length of the tie should be slightly less than double your neck size (I know that 39″ is recommended for a 20′ neck, for example). As the poster above mentioned, though, the best way is to experiment – this gives you practice at tying the bow as well!
