I like the fitted style and have worn 1 or 2 fitted shirts that actually looks good on me. Unfortunately, there isn’t much designers that tailors to us.
Any suggestions???…. where to shop, off the rack or tailored, etc…

Hi, my name is Boris and im 24 years old, 6″6′, 170 pounds, pale warm skin. Daily i usually wear pants/shorts below knee,(white, black or gray) t-shirt and basketball shoes (i used to play). Now my new gf want to go in classy clubs and I am out of my element so need to buy completely new wardrobe from head to toes…. I’m from Europe so I need stuff that i can buy in Europe and plz post some links or photos of items u think i would look good in.

Is there an article for young men dressing sharp? or a book? I love your articles on suits and stuff but I don’t think they fit my age as well as Im a student. I do dress really good but I want to know if Im dressing the right way or not. (Casual dressing)

Just wondering if anyone knows the different types of canvasses used in jackets and what purpose is for each types? Also what is the purpose of using multiple layers of canvas along the chest piece?

Hi just wondering what the purpose of taping (or sometimes chain-stitches) around the armhole is for? How do you tell if a sleeve is inserted/set by hand without taking the jacket apart?

What goes with a brown checkered sports jacket?

The jacket is dark brown with barely visible light greenish-blue checks.

Would a plain-white shirt go with it? What about deep oxford blue? What about a white shirt with thin widely strapped black straps?

Would a white plain (think mad men, Don Draper) pocket square go with it? If not – what would?

Since it’s a sports jacket, I think no tie should be worn with it, and the top shirt button unbuttoned.

I’d be wearing black shoes (no patterns) and either dark blue jeans or one of these trousers (which ones would go with it, and which are more versatile, by the way?):

Prom – What to wear to a gold dress

Hi!

I will be going to a prom in a few weeks. My girlfriend wants to wear her gold-yellow dress and I have problems to find an appropriate way to match my outfit. I would like to wear my navy blue suit (dark) with a white shirt. Now I’m looking for a good tie. I don’t like plain, golden ones. Do you have a suggestion for me or – maybe – some examples? I would really appreciate it!
