Clever t-shirts with…?
I tend to wear mostly collared shirts, sometimes with the occasional vest or jacket but every now and then I want to let my geeky/pop-culture flag fly. The issue I’m having is this: I have a lot of nerdy/pop-culture t-shirts (not the black with white text “I see stupid people” shirts, more like this:

I’m really struggling with “dressing up” a t-shirt, and displaying the graphic. I’ve worn the casual blazer (typically tweed) and tee combo with jeans, but it can get a bit warm in the summer. I was wondering if you had any suggestions on other ways to “dress up the tee?”
Thanks in advance!

Those are some great t shirts! I had the same issue, and for a while, I simply ditched my awesome t shirts. I will occasionally wear them, but only when I’m going out with immediate friends, and always with an unbuttoned, solid-colored dress shirt (with sleeves rolled). Some may disagree, but it’s certainly very casual, comfortable, with what I feel is a great balance of style as well.

LikeDislikeA blazer’s the best way. You can wear light cotton or linen in the summer rather than tweed to spare yourself some sweating.
The other option I see a lot is to wear the shirt very close-fitted with colored trousers (corduroys and brightly-colored denim are probably the most common choices) and a decorative belt.
