I would like to know how many belts should a man have in wardrobe between a casual and dress belt?

Sky’s the limit — I own ten or fifteen, myself, most of them casual.
For business purposes, you pretty much have to have a slim black belt with a small, simple, metal buckle. If you ever wear brown shoes with your business clothes, than a similar one in brown is also necessary.
Beyond that it becomes a matter of taste. I find it’s often useful to have a couple of simple woven leather belts in black and brown, just because they go with everything, and another couple in black and brown that take interchangeable buckles. At that point you can create basically unlimited belts, as long as you keep buying decorative buckles.
But for practical purposes, start with the two business-appropriate belts (plain leather, narrow, with simple metal buckles) and go from there.
