What Shoes and Shirts Go with a Brown Corduroy Jacket?
I have a medium to light brown corduroy sport coat. One day I decided to wear it and blue jeans together. Suddenly, I found myself a bit confused. What color(s) shirt and shoes should I wear? So my question is, what would be the proper colors to wear* with a brown corduroy sport coat?
*Informal situations almost always

With a brown cord jacket you can wear almost any type of brown dress shoe or boot (imagine wearing it with these http://www.redwing.redwingshoestore.com/product/09016) – it does not have to be the exact shade of brown as the jacket. However – it “should” be darker and not of the same texture (so leave out suede). – Antonio

LikeDislikeI think my favorite casual jacket of all time is my brown corduroy. It goes with most anything, like Antonio said above. White shirts work, as do blue-and-white stripes, light solid colors or candystripes…pretty much anything, although you want to steer clear of really narrow stripes that closely resemble the whales (ridges) in the corduroy.
For shoes I mostly wear casual brown leather shoes, usually with a broad brown belt and a decorative buckle of some kind.
