Dressing for a Beach Wedding
I am going to my fiance’s cousins wedding in Florida and its a beech wedding. she was thinking to maybe wear a pair of khaki shorts with some boat shoes but I was wondering if you’d have any other suggestions for something like that. Its a casual formal event and what i’m mostly worried about is getting hit by the heat. So any ideas/suggestions would be much appreciated!

Long pants at a wedding unless they specifically said to wear shorts — light cotton khakis or linen trousers are best, and don’t be afraid to roll the cuffs up on the beach. A light-colored, short-sleeved shirt with a collar (or a long-sleeved one with the sleeves rolled up) should work for the top. Wear a decent belt and some topsiders or leather sandals, tuck the shirt in, and you’re good to go.
